Idea
This concept develops a temporary retail environment for Augustinus Bader in the Hamptons. The aim is to turn the brand’s scientific foundation into a physical experience that increases visibility, trial, and conversion among a summer audience defined by wellness, luxury travel, and high discretionary spending.
INSIGHTS
Gen Z and Millennial beauty consumers seek proof backed efficacy, credible science, and immersive experiences that feel personalized and premium. Their purchase decisions are shaped by consultation, transparency, and ritual building.
The Hamptons provides a concentrated seasonal audience with strong wellness engagement and a high appetite for premium skincare. Limited beauty retail saturation, combined with consistent summer footfall, makes it an ideal location for Augustinus Bader to create a controlled environment where the brand’s science and sensorial elements can be experienced directly.
THE BLUEPRINT
The spatial plan is built around a clean deep blue exterior softened with coastal materials. Inside, an intentional flow moves from structured, clinical surfaces to warmer, wellness driven textures. The layout centers around three core zones consultation, regeneration, and diagnostics allowing the brand narrative to unfold through guided movement and minimal friction.
THE FORMULA ARCHIVE
The Formula Archive acts as the scientific core of the pop up. Presented through a series of illuminated pillars, the installation reveals the inner workings of the brand TFC8® technology, ingredient architecture, formulation steps, and the engineering of Bader’s signature packaging. Each pillar isolates one dimension of the brand’s innovation, creating a clear, museum like visualization of how the products are built. The Archive establishes instant credibility and grounds the entire space in tangible scientific value.

IMPACT AND ROLLOUT
The activation is structured to deliver measurable gains in traffic, consultation bookings, dwell time, product sales, and social amplification aligned with projected outcomes from the Bader Effect framework. Operating as a four month summer installation, the pop up moves from early season awareness to peak season engagement and late season conversion. By combining diagnostics, ritual touchpoints, and transparent scientific storytelling, the experience strengthens trust, accelerates adoption, and reinforces the long term Bader Effect of repeat use and habit formation.
